How to Care for Your Smile Between Orthodontic Visits
Even though you may not be seeing us for short while, we want to make sure your oral health care doesn’t end. You can take these few steps to keep things on track with your orthodontic treatment.
1. Clean your teeth multiple times a day
If you have an orthodontic appliance, braces or aligners, it is even more important to keep your teeth clean. Try and floss your teeth once a day.
2. Use what you have at home
A little water, your toothbrush, some floss and toothpaste go a long way. Also, rinse your mouth with water after drinking a sugary or acidic drink.
3. Wear your elastics or retainers
Keep your orthodontic treatment on track by following our recommendations. If you are running out of elastics, call our practice so that we can organise to get you some more.
4. Avoid certain foods and drinks
Avoid hard, sticky foods that could potentially break brackets. Limit or avoid sugary drinks. Water is best!
5. Call Mehta Orthodontics if you have any questions
Even though our practice might not be open, we would still like to hear from you if you have any concerns during this time.
Call our practice number 02 8883 4444 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and one of our staff members will be in touch.
Take care and stay safe.
