Mehta Orthodontics is unfortunately postponing The Education Seminar to be held on 8th May 2020 at the Four Seasons Hotel due to the current situation with COVID-19.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly and there are two main reasons for this cancellation. Firstly, we have a duty of care to our delegates in relation to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Secondly, the most recent Government announcement recommends not holding large gatherings to help stop the spread of virus.
Mehta Orthodontics would like to thank you for all your support in looking after the orthodontic care of your patients and we will keep you informed of a date later this year for hosting this event.
On 13th May 2018, Dr. Mehta hosted our Annual Education Seminar at the Four Seasons Hotel. The seminar was a great success and was well attended by over 250 of Sydney’s top dentists.
This year’s seminar was presented by Dr. Graeme Milicich, a leading figure in microdentistry from New Zealand. He lectures internationally in the fields of minimal intervention, caries risk assessment and management of minimal intervention techniques.
The lecture slides have been kindly provided by Dr. Graeme Milicich and can be found here.
Participant feedback was excellent with over 80% of feedback forms rating the seminar as a 9 or 10 out of 10.
“Great speaker, great location, thank you for hosting this event.”
“Very interesting clinical concepts that are easy to implement into general practice.”
“Thank you for a fabulous day. Looking forward to next year already.”
On Friday 19th May 2017, Dr Mehta hosted our Annual Education Seminar at the Four Seasons Hotel in the city. The event was attended by approximately 300 general dentists who practice all over Sydney.
Our main speaker for the day was Dr Andrew Dillon, who is a Prosthodontist from Melbourne. He presented several lectures to the dentists on restorative dentistry and a clinical update on recent advances in dentistry that could benefit patients.
We also had Kate Johnston, a nutritionist and naturopath; give an informative talk on the importance of controlling sugar in our diet and healthy eating habits.
The feedback from the day was very positive and very well received by all the attendees.
We hope to organise another great event next year.
On Friday 6 May 2016, Dr Mehta hosted the Annual Education Seminar at the Four Seasons Hotel. The event was attended by approximately 300 guests, the majority of whom were dentists.
Our main speaker for the day was Dr Praveen Nathaniel, who is a Prosthodontist from Melbourne. He presented several lectures to the dentists on restorative dentistry.
We also had Dr Catherine Boland, a Clinical Psychologist, speak about Mental Health and Self-Esteem in children in Australia. A donation was made to ‘Beyond Blue’ in recognition for Dr Boland’s time and work in this area.
